Went to Bury yesterday to do some shopping and met up with our friend John. So we did some shopping picked up the new Richard Morgan novel and one based on the game Dead Island which looked interesting. Then we went back to our friends place to check out his new 3d TV.
It was pretty cool but like all 3d that isn't on an imax screen it soon begun to give me a headache. On a side note the 3d version of Beauty and The Beast is amazing considering 1.how old it is and 2. it wasn't filmed in 3d orginally.
So we're getting ready to leave when he says he's got something for us. For me he hands me a blu-ray player(that plays Amercian blu-rays) and for the husband a rack of ribs he'd gotten from one of the US bases nearby. All I can say I was amazed he was giving us this stuff consider the player alone was over £100 new.
Sometimes our friends are really amazing :)
This means I can now pick up some of those anime blu-rays I've been longing to get a hold of that haven't been releashed over here including the Supernatural anime.:)

I was close on my video game toal having finished 43 out of 50 games
I got through 25 out of 50 TV shows seasons
Watched 83 out of 100 animes
read 100 out of 100 books (one completed)
Watched 200 out of 180 films (two complted)
and only finished 2 mangas out of 25.
This year I plan to try and
watch 100 animes
play 50 video games
watch 50 Tv Seasons
read 50 manga volumes
read 100 books
and watch 200 movies

Happy Birthday to me lol. Have gotten a couple of books from the parents and some money. Have no idea what I'm getting from the brother and husband.
Going out later with a couple of friends for some food and maybe some bowling. Should be a laugh.

As of today the husband and I have been together for 14 years. We starting seeing each other one day before my 18th birthday and we've been going strong ever since.:)
Today we're going out to dinner as well as catching a couple of movies which hopefully will be Captain Amercia and Super 8. It should be a good day all round.:)

The husband brought me a new camera as a surprise and it is all kinds of awesome. It's got a x26 zoom so I was able to get some awesome pics of some of the animals and birds that vist the garden.
